Salt and Light - Episode 17: God, Chaos, and Angels with NY accents

This week we celebrated the Liturgy of Light with the children who have spent the year experiencing the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program at our parish and growing in love for Our Lord. The Liturgy of Light is like a mini-Easter Vigil, and our son read the Gospel for the ceremony. In this episode, we chat about the ceremony, the Gospel (Mk16:1-7), and what we can learn from the angels. Salt and Light - Episode 16: Icons are like Post-it Notes

How much do you know about icons? Annie is currently preparing and creating an icon-making kit with: materials, a written explanation of the history of icons and each theological element in the selected icon in the kit, instructions for painting the icon included in the kit. This kit is a gift for Chuck and Annie's goddaughter, who will be receiving the Eucharist for the first time next weekend.
